I'm a "retired" registered nurse, mom, and military wife. Photography was once my hobby but became a happy accident of a career. Weddings, in particular, are where I shine. I love the chaos, the dresses, the tuxes, the ballrooms, the barns, the families, the music...I could go on and on. I love everything about a wedding and can’t ever get enough!
I ended up a wedding photographer by accident. It's true! In 2015, I was encouraged to accept my very first wedding having never photographed anything professionally and definitely not a wedding. I turned the gig down twice before I finally agreed. I got my business license just one week before that first wedding and the rest is history!
Yes, I love being a wedding photographer, but I adore the people I photograph more. Many of my clients have left reviews saying I wasn't just their photographer but their friend. It continues to be the best compliment I receive and I cherish those reviews. I continue to make it my #1 priority to be more and do more and create a stress free experience you will never forget.

Do you have a second shooter?
Yes! A second shooter is included in every wedding collection and accompanies me to every wedding I photograph! Unlike most photographers, I have a team so you get a streamlined, professional approach to your big day! I'm not bringing some random person I found on social media to one of the biggest days of your life! Nope!
DO YOU OFFER DIFFERENT PACKAGE OPTIONS?
Yes. I offer three wedding photography package options with a la carte options. The base package starts at $4,600 and custom packages to meet unique budgets and needs can be accommodated. Photos can be a big part of your budget but photography shouldn't be a gamble either. Your photos are one of the only things you'll have left after all the planning. Let's meet for a no obligation chat! I am NOT a car saleswoman so you won't feel pressure. We can work together to meet your needs.
when do i receive my photos?
Engagement sessions are delivered within 10 days of the session and weddings are even faster (on average within one week). I have one of the fastest turn around times and I've very proud of it! I don't like the excitement to wear off and you shouldn't be waiting months for your photos.
Is an engagement session included?
Yes! All wedding photography collections include an engagement session.
WILL YOU TRAVEL?
Wedding collections include photography coverage to locations within 1.5 hours of my studio. Farther distances absolutely can be accommodated but may require an additional charge for travel, lodging, etc. As always, reach out. Let's talk about it!
I want you to feel joy. I want you to look at your photos (and blog) in years to come and remember all those good memories...and even laugh about any hiccups on your big day! I often tease, "the building could be on fire and you'd never know..." but it's the truth. You should not be worrying about anything on your wedding day except what's important and that's where I excel!
We're going to have fun!
Before every wedding, I have a checklist I go through to make sure not one thing gets left behind - including my back up gear (you know, just in case). Also on that list is my "emergency bag" and it contains anything and everything we may need in the event something goes wrong on your wedding day - bobby pins, garment tape, and my sewing kit are the most used items!
Like a girl scout, I'm prepared
I once secured an aisle runner with that garment tape I carry and this happened just moments before the ceremony began. Yep! This is based on true events and it was definitely a first for me! I want everything to be as perfect as possible for my couples so all you need to do is ask. Side Note: THIS is why we wear shorts under our dresses.
I'll do just about anything for my couples.
Not everyone loves to have their photo taken...most men actually loathe it, let's be honest. It's my job to make sure everyone has a good time! Many "I don't like photo time" individuals have left reviews for saying they didn't hate it...and actually enjoyed it. Whattttttt? I've been known to get those who don't smile...to luagh.
The men will have a good time too!
I won't ever let my couples stress about location or weather. Nope. That's my job! Location for any of your photos should never be an issue on wedding days - it's all about angles and light! I've photographed some of my favorite photos from an asphalt parking lot or stuffed in a random corner or in the pouring rain.
We can make any location work.
