Good Morning and Happy Tuesday, everyone! It’s Tuesday, right?! Oy. Winter always gets me because I’m not really busy…but when I am…I’m SUPER busy (like this week). Add in homeschooling two children? I never know what day it is anymore! So yes…HAPPY TUESDAY! I have a new couple for you all to meet! Everyone get your excitement ready for Samantha (Sam) and Bryce! They’re the newest couple on the blog and all my red dress loving friends better get ready! It’s a goodie! Enjoy!
I got to meet Samantha right before COVID hit last year. I believe she was my last non-mask wearing, “normal” wedding consultation before the world shut down. She had seen one of my other bride’s book me on social media (Hey, Kenzie) and THAT is how she found me…and I DO BELIEVE it was because she saw a blog. Yes? No? Maybe? It’s been a while. Nonetheless, I knew we’d be a good fit and after getting to know her more and more and more on Instagram, I can NOT believe how similar we are in everything “life”. So, I was VERY excited about this engagement session and VERY excited to meet her soon-to-be husband, Bryce, even though they told me in their survey that he didn’t love photos…HA! You’d never know though. He rocked it…attire and all. Where are the praise hands?! These outfits were off the wall amazing!
No posing issues for these two! I’m not a huge black and white gal but these did call to me!
They absolutely nailed the “snuggle” when I had them walk and snuggle. Speaking of walking…Bryce took Sam to Bedford Springs when he proposed. They had arrived early so he suggested a WALK…and that’s where he proposed. She said it was just the two of them by a waterfall and I just can picture it in my head in the best way! I swear my whole career is just one big romance novel!
…and he gave her THIS beauty (below)! She tells me they are your typical childhood love story (that’s not her words…but mine). It’s such a great story! She says they’ve known each other since primary/grade school but positively hated each other. It wasn’t until Bryce told her she had pretty eyes in 8th grade that they started liking each other…and they’ve been together ever since! That’s right! She says they absolutely compliment each other in the best way!
I’m telling you…these outfits sealed the deal for me!
They danced and we laughed and then I talked them into heading to the icy lake! I told her it would ALL make sense once she saw these photos. I gave her the best of both worlds, in my opinion. These forest ones were “warm” and then we went to the icy lake where we could get some “cool” photos.
…and HERE are the cool photos! Do you see it?! I knew they were planning a wedding more towards the forest feel so that’s why we spent most of the time there BUT I just was loving photographing these two…so what’s a few more, right?!
Warm snuggles and kisses on the dock! Yes, please!
…and some more walking and kissing photos for the grand finale! WOOOOO!
We ended up with a fairly large gallery for such a short session. The weather worked out for us too which was a win because Bryce traveled a pretty long way for these! It wasn’t too cold at all either (although, I did have a jacket on). I’m SO excited for their summer wedding. We’re heading to Seven Springs and she tells me it’s going to be…”A fun, unique celebration with our closest family and friends. A romantic, enchanted forest feel.” I MEAN…I’m not sure who is going with me…but I KNOW it’s going to be amazing!
Happy Tuesday! Thanks for reading!
