Lakeside Raccoon State Park Fall Engagement Photos

Happy Thursday, everyone! NEW COUPLE ALERT!  Elissa and Bill are on the blog right now with their lakeside engagement session at Raccoon State Park!  Please give them all your Hannah Barlow Photography love!  It’s their time to shine!  Enjoy!

This session was an absolute breeze AND it was the first one that looked “fall” this year! YAY!  You know me!  I do love the “dead stuff” because it photographs so so SO pretty!  Bill was “all in” too.  I never saw an ounce of hesitation on him for these photos!  Sign him up for lots of groom photos next year!

Elissa and Bill were so easy to be with…no weird “first encounters” or awkwardness.  Nope!! Felt like I’d known them for a while now.  I did get the opportunity a few weeks ago to chat with Elissa via Zoom about all things weddings so I guess we did “meet” prior to this…but still.  You all know I can be “a lot of Hannah” coming at you and adding in my camera can be uber stressful for couples…but not these two! Nope!

I thoroughly expect my email to blow up after I post these.  So many people want fall and this just proved that those beautiful colors will be here in NO time!  I also had a little nervous “uh oh” on the way home thinking that fall colors may be a wee bit early this year!

I don’t know but these muted and soft colors below with that amazing glow behind them just grabbed my attention!  Also, Elissa has cheek bones that I need in my life.  I need ALL the secrets!

We ended the session with some snuggles, of course.  Elissa and I both eye balled those white flowers and decided they were a MUST!  I mean…they are “weeds” but Oooo so beautiful!! I tell my couples ALL the time that dead stuff and weeds are some of the prettiest things.

OOooo man.  You just wait until next year with these two.  They’ve booked the vendor dream team, I tell ya!  We’ll be at Oglebay together next June and if this laid back session is any sneak peek at what’s to come next year…it’s going to be a very very long wedding blog!
