Alexis and Zach’s Wedding | Oglebay | Wheeling, WV

Good morning, everyone!!  Last night I stayed up and edited while watching the election!  I was able to spend five and a half hours in front of my computer getting this beautiful wedding done!  Check it out!

Alexis and Zach got married on October 22nd at Oglebay in Wheeling, WV.  They had both their ceremony and reception at Camp Russell.  I think Camp Russell is a hidden gem.  Who knew?!  It’s so pretty!  It’s nestled back in the forest past the Good Zoo.  It’s a great location for a rustic, fall wedding!  Everyone considering an outdoor ceremony and country reception should check it out.  This day was chilly though.  It was strange too because just five days before the temperature was in the eighties!  We all embraced it though and the day couldn’t have gone better!

I don’t usually have this many black and white images of the bride getting ready but I couldn’t resist!! Alexis was very natural and easy to photograph while getting ready!  We had lots of room to move around too which always helps!  She got ready in one of Oglebay’s cabins!

The bridesmaids had a lot of fun showing off their personalities!

It was sooo chilly and these girls just rocked it!  You’d never know from the pictures how cold they really were!

We did some traditional formals at the mansion, of course!

Alexis’ parents have been married for 27 years!  The picture they are holding was taken in the exact same spot they were standing!  Such a sweet memory!!!!
