Wheeling, WV Tulip Engagement Session at Oglebay

Happy Monday, everyone!  I have another couple I’d like you to meet!  Say “Hello” to Jesse and Ryan!  They are the newest couple in front of my camera and on my blog for their engagement session today!  Sadly, I wasn’t available for their wedding coming this New Year’s Eve BUT I was the lucky photographer who got to spend just a little time with them for their engagement photos at Oglebay WITH the tulips!! YAY!  If any of you haven’t traveled to Wheeling, West Virginia yet to enjoy the Oglebay tulips…you need to! RIGHT NOW!  You’ll see!  Enjoy!  Have a GREAT day!

These two were definitely easy to photograph!  Jesse told me she loved flowers.  Ryan didn’t have much of a comment on that one! HA!  So, I promised to make it the best of both worlds for them incorporating what they’d both end up loving for their engagement photos!

So, we did lots of tulip photos!  I tried to get every angle imaginable.  Boy…Oglebay IS beautiful!  The tulips ARE beautiful…but photoshopping out those electric fences…Oy!  I am that photographer who vows to do it though because…you can’t NOT have Oglebay tulip photos this time of year, right?!  Seriously, if you are near Wheeling, West Virginia or just need a nice, relaxing trip…head over there! It’s so pretty!

She is a doll!  An absolute beauty!  That’s right!  Those tulips are just a big bonus!

So then I decided to go find one of my favorite and more “neutral” spots.  I’m hoping Ryan loves these photos sans tulips!

…and before we wrapped up their engagement session…we walked around and found all kinds of little spots to take some extra photos!! Jesse even busted out her phone so she could have some unique engagement photos!  Flowers EVERYWHERE right now, I tell ya!  We’re going to be hitting Oglebay hard here this week too for engagement photos and session…you just wait!  I’ve got more coming this week! EEEKKK!! They only last such a short time so I like to take FULL advantage!

AND…of course, we MUST see her beautiful engagement ring!! Rose gold and gold are coming back!  It’s a thing now!  The trends are changing!

So, that one was short and sweet just like the last few!  Ryan and Jesse will be tying the knot and celebrating at the Skyliner in Bridgeport, Ohio.  Bella Lux Images will be the lucky photographer and they’ll be ringing in the new year with lots and lots of love!
