Do these two look familiar?! They should! They were my models for the 1950’s themed shoot you saw before and this session just happened to be the same day. When my friends like to have their picture taken, I take advantage (to the tenth power)! Kari and David are awesome! Kari and I had all these ideas and I wanted to add them ALL to my portfolio. So, when you can’t make a decision and narrow it down, you just do them all, right?!
We wanted to do something “earthy” – something “vintage-y” – something with a flower crown! My style is usually very clean, crisp, and bright. I hardly ever use overlays or retouch my photos too much, but Kari inspired me to try something different. She really likes the vintage-y filters you can find, so I did some research and found out how to create my own. I’m going to call it “Kari’s edit/action” for her wedding pictures! EKKKK!
Enjoy!
Anyone who takes photos with me knows that we MUST dance! You know what’s even better? This couple played music on a cell phone the whole time! AHHH! New favorite thing! Get ready to stream music when I shoot from now on!
See photo below. We’re going to have to work on this before their wedding. This is the Kari/David version of a romantic dip. HA! It’s a good thing we have almost a year and a half to perfect this. I texted it to Kari and she texted back “#nailedit”. I can’t stop giggling!
Let’s get a little more earthy, shall we?!
Check out her unique engagement ring! I’m a sucker for different things!
Kari and David are going for a vintage feel on their wedding day. I CAN’T WAIT! Stay tuned!
