Emily & Aaron’s Engagement Session | Wheeling, WV

Good evening, everyone!

I’ve decided to skip Tasty Tuesday this week because I have something even better to share!!

Meet Emily and Aaron!!!!  These two hired me to photograph their wedding this August!  I couldn’t be more excited!! When we first sat down to discuss everything, I knew we’d be a good match!!!  Emily has the sweetest and most easy going personality and Aaron is a total gentleman with a personality and attitude that just goes with the flow!!  They were a joy to photograph and we really lucked out on the weather!! It was pretty warm this last Saturday in February!  It was meant to be!

I photographed this engagement session in Wheeling, WV.  Emily works near WesBanco arena so we decided to start there down by the river.  When we arrived, there were geese enjoying the weather and the water right behind the couple.  I originally thought I was going to clone the group out, but when I got home and saw them…they looked like they belonged in the picture!! Emily and Aaron agreed so I left them!  I did make the executive decision to clone out any goose poo though (HA!)!  I draw the line!

You all know it….there was dancing, of course!!! AND dipping!  CHECK IT OUT!! She is completely parallel to the ground!! I was impressed!

The sun decided to peek out for a minute so I took advantage and got some pretty backlit images!  Her hair picks up the light so nicely!

I LOVE this location!! I left early and did a drive around to get some other location ideas!! This door is amazingly beautiful!!! 

Then, we headed over to the Wheeling suspension bridge.  There was only light traffic so these images weren’t nearly as difficult as last year’s pictures I did in this same spot!!!

It was Aaron’s idea to move to the center of the bridge and I’m so glad he suggested it!! Check out the warm light!! So pretty!

…and because I can never stop taking pictures…we snapped just one more in this alleyway!  Aren’t they an amazing couple!?  I can’t wait to see them together on their wedding day!
