Happy Hump Day, everyone! I hope you’re all recovering from the holidays and surviving this week back at it! If not, these two will certainly brighten your day! Meet Jane and Tom! They are two of the most easy going people to ever be in front of my camera! So, here are some of my very favorites from their session!
Enjoy!
These two surprised me! I always say, “when you walk and snuggle, don’t walk and look at me…nobody cares about me!” Well, these two happened to both look up at me at the same time and I may have “yelled ” at them at the time but now I actually LOVE IT! It is definitely one of my favorites which really got me thinking about the “walk-snuggle-walk”. I may need to revamp my techniques! Well done, you two! This could lead to bigger and better things!
These two are so sweet together. I actually met Jane back at Emily and Aaron’s wedding! Tom was there but I didn’t get the chance to meet him until this session! You can find Jane in many of the photos by clicking here BUT don’t you dare forget to come back because these two take beautiful photos!
They probably thought I was totally nuts when I wanted them to stand here by half dead bushes (well, not dead…but losing leaves and sporting their “winter look”). You all know me though, I LOVE dead/dying/looks-like-it’s-dead foliage! I don’t know why I prefer it! It just happened a while back and check it out! The bushes were pretty. Tom and Jane looked great! The light was cooperating! EEKKKK! It was all so good!
So, these two actually both grew up in Wheeling but Jane went to Central and Tom (which most people call Burke (his last name)) went to Park. They didn’t cross paths until Jane was a senior in college at WVU and Tom was in grad school. He’s an aerospace engineer, by the way. Sounds fancy and WAY above anything I know anything about! HA! Makes sense though! Tom was super chill and quiet and just went with the flow! I tend to notice my super smart guys tend to be that way! it’s interesting…I tell ya! I love them for it though! Makes my job SO easy!
This late fall has been AMAZING for light! Forget the chilliness…look at THAT LIGHT!
Jane described Tom as “really smart” and someone who always knows how to make her laugh. She said “he makes me a better person and he’s the love of my life”…..Where’s that swoon emoji when I need it?! Tom describes Jane as being beautiful, sweet, and outgoing and his best friend. He also said she is one of the nicest people he knows and is loved by everyone who gets to know her! I totally agree! She’s been sweet since the moment I met her! I can’t wait to see her get her moment to be the bride! It’s going to be breathtaking!
These two are very natural together! I love the fall feel of these! Mother nature sure did get confused this year! The beginning of November was COLD but the tail end has been amazing!
We found this neat little spot to have them dance a bit and then do a modified dip!
…and check out this bling! AHHHHHH!! The sun was hitting it and it was sparkling like mad! These two live in Virginia and near a Ferris wheel! THAT is where Tom popped the question!!
…and we snapped a few more on the way back to their car because the light was hitting this spot just right AND there was a fence there! I’m all about my stone buildings, dead foliage, and fences!!
That’s a wrap folks! These two will be married in Wheeling, WV next year! It’s coming so fast! They’re one of my June couples! I’m lucking enough to be photographing their whole wedding experience and I can’t wait to see Jane all dolled up again but for her big day with Tom by her side!!! EEEkkkkk! It’s going to be amazing! I also heard rumor she’s going to be a bridesmaid in a May wedding I’m photographing in Wheeling too!!! Gosh! I can’t wait! Don’t forget to check back next year to see it all!
