Happy Friday, everyone!! It’s been a busy few weeks in the Hannah Barlow Photography studio but we’re seeing fall come to an end and moving into winter…but not before Allie and Joey light up this blog with their fall engagement photos! So, please give these two all your Hannah Barlow Photography love and ENJOY!
These two may look a bit familiar to you and THAT…is because I photographed Allie’s sister’s wedding last year (and her other sister’s wedding in 2018 but I’m pretty sure Joey wasn’t there…and if he was…I don’t think I met him). Someone correct me if I’m wrong! Anyway…I got to photograph them last year! My GOODNESS…they take a great photo, right?!
…and now I’m photographing them now but for their own photos…and in the fall! That’s the only thing Allie wanted out of this session…alllll the fall and I found out that’s because Joey didn’t want to wait until next fall to get married (I mean…I LOVE that)! So, they are having a fall engagement session now and then a summer wedding next year! ROAD TIPPPP for the Hannah Barlow Photography crew (but really…just Lacey and I). We’ll be sure to document the whole thing!
Don’t let that warm and cozy sun fool you…it was prettyyyyy chilly!
But I did get super excited when the sun would pop out and give us all that GLOW! Joey dipped Allie UNPROMPTED and I about lost my mind envisioning them next year as a bride and groom AND with a fresh wedding photographer palette because you all KNOW I love a new venue!
Of course, every couple has to do some walking and snuggling!
Then, we moved on to another little location I love that always has trees that hold on to those leaves for a long time! Joey was always ready for test shots which means I likely won’t have to photoshop any of his eyes in wedding photos next year. That’s a WIN for me! After I got all set I had them ditch those jackets.
…and we took some more engagement photo magic! I’m giddy with excitement picturing their wedding photos next year! I have VISIONS!
The wind was whipping but these two didn’t even blink…somehow…because my eyes were watering!
So, then we went to another location! This is the first time I’ve ever used this spot and I kind of love it! I may end up using it for weddings in the future!
BUT THEN…we went “hiking” because this felt like a good spot.
…ANDDDDD we ended it with a dip!
These two made this session SO easy for me! It’s probably going to be the last fall session of the year…but we will see. I have had fall weddings the 2nd and 3rd week of November in the past though so I guess that’s to be determined and we will see in a few weeks. I need you to check back next year for these two. They’re having a western Ohio wedding with blush/pink/purple tones and I can’t even wait to see them all dolled up AND, most importantly, see all those familiar faces again! I mean, I’ve known Allie’s family now for well over six years because I originally met two of Allie’s sisters back in 2017 when I first did engagement photos. That’s just CRAZY! But I’m so excited!! 2024 weddings…here we come!
