Introducing CLIENT PORTALS! | WV Wedding Photography | Hannah Barlow Photography

There were some BIG changes and improvements for my company this past winter!! I’m so excited to introduce one of the biggest and best upgrades!! All my clients now have access to their own personal, password-protected “client portal”.  Inside the client portal, you will be able to see your invoice (including amounts/retainers paid and balance remaining), a copy of your contract, job details, AND you’ll be able to sign contracts, fill out questionnaires, and/or pay invoices through that portal!

All my current clients will be receiving an email with their portal link and password soon.  If you have any questions or issues, let me know.  This is all new to me, of course.  None of my clients are required to use this as it is simply an option to better your overall experience.  If you’re not a computer savvy individual, no problem.  We can go about our business the way we have in the past.  This is just another option many are finding more convenient!

So, here’s a quick little tutorial/guide on what you can expect when you use your portal.

Check your email within the next 24 hours to get the link for your portal.

Here is the email you can expect!
**Make sure you add my email…. hannahbarlowphotography@gmail.com to your contacts so it doesn’t inadvertently get thrown in that darn spam folder.

I used myself as a client.  It was kind of fun to add the job “Jackson/Barlow Wedding”.  It’s a throw back to when I was a bride back in 2008!

Anyway, in your inbox you will find this…..

Inside that email you will find the button for your portal.  Just click this button and you’ll be redirected to your own personal, job folder.

Type your password here (see below).  The password will be found in the email you received (See Above…my password was “WinterWedding”.  When I tried it out on myself, it inputted my email address (I think this was a browser default/auto-fill thing).  Make sure if this happens to you you go ahead and remove your email address and type in the password I assigned.

Voila! You are now inside your portal.  You’ll be able to see original emails I’ve sent from the portal, a copy of our completed contract, invoices, questionnaires and other goodies coming soon!
**Please keep in mind emails initiated by you will not be stored in the client portal and only the initial email I sent can be viewed.  Any other correspondence/replies within that same email will need to be viewed through your email not the client portal (Yahoo, AOL, Gmail, etc.).**

If you click on the invoice, you now have even more options!! You’ll be able to see a full listing of the package you purchased, what it includes, the amounts you’ve already paid (retainers, in particular), and what’s due.  You can make payments online now using your bank or credit card and apply payments at any time.  You can also still mail me a check the old, traditional way.  That will always still be an option as I realize not everyone enjoys making payments online. 🙂

So, I hope you are all as excited as I am!!

I hope you all find this will make doing business with me even easier than before!

I hope you all enjoy and have an amazing rest of the week!

Happy Hump Day!
