Summer Love Engagement Session | Hannah Barlow Photography | WV Wedding Photography

Happy Tuesday, everyone!

So, I’m a bit behind blogging.  I know…I know!  I am actually SO glad people notice though because that means I still have those loyal blog readers I love and appreciate SO MUCH!!  I do apologize though.  I thought my old site (this site) was going down a couple weeks ago but here we are!! The new site isn’t quite ready yet so I figured I’d try and get caught up on some blogging!!

So, here we go!

Before I introduce you to the happy couple though, let’s “OoOoo and AhhHhHh” over this ring, shall we?!  I’ve also learned something new about myself recently!  I LOVE lambs ear!!!  Who knew?!?  Even I didn’t!  I find myself being drawn to it over and over again!!

So, here’s some pretty lamb’s ear and some pretty bling!

Enjoy!

So, who does that ring belong to?!  I’m going to tell you, of course!!  It belongs to Emily and Aaron gave it to her a while back…she said “yes”…now they’re on my blog!

Meet Emily and Aaron, everyone!

…and their fur baby who was SO GOOD and even smiled for the camera!

Emily and Aaron are getting married this December (fellow December brides UNITE).  I won’t be their photographer though but I’m SO GLAD I got to spend some time with them this day!! James Carl Photography will be photographing their big day and you better believe I’ll be stalking his site like a crazy person looking for those beauties!!!

They’re also Ohio State fans.  Kari’s fist pumping now! HA!

They changed their clothes so we could do some more formal photos!! Loving this black and white!  They were all about the “do whatever you want to do”.  SO EASY!  It was almost too easy!! Makes me nervous sometimes!  HA!

I had to add some flowers into the mix, of course.  The flowers are on their way out now and fall leaves are on their way in!! I’m taking advantage.  You better believe it!!  I kid you not…I find myself stepping out of the car and appreciating this warm weather each session recently because I know what’s coming.  Photographing in the cold is NOT easy!  I think I’d rather photograph in the heat!  I’ll check back this winter and give you all an update!

THESE are some of my favorites!!

You all know me!  Add in some good pillars and I’m a happy girl!!!  So easy!! All of it!

Then, we did some walking and snuggling.  Aaron was one of those guys who just took direction and did whatever I asked!  I never really worry about the gals leading up to these sessions but the guys sometimes hate photos.  You all know that!  Not Aaron!! I’m telling you…their wedding will be a breeze!  I should set myself a reminder now!  I NEED to see those wedding images!

We HAD to get some hand and ring shots, of course!

…and another ring and lamb’s ear photo.  I mean…WHY NOT?!

Then, Aaron suggested we go get some scenery into the mix!!! I love how natural these two are together!  I thought this was a nice, sweet shot!  I hope they love it as much as I do!  It just felt “right”!

…and one grand finale!!  I find myself having each couple kiss for the last photo I take!! I think it’s neat and seals the deal for the whole shoot!! Yup!  That’s a wrap!!!

OooO and before I go…did I mention that just two days after this shoot I got to see these two again at Maddie and Cody’s wedding?!  THAT’S RIGHT!  You’ll get to see them breaking it down on the dance floor for their blog and THEN you’ll get to see them again for this coming weekend’s wedding.  Aaron is one of the groomsmen and it’s going to be a blast!!

It’s a whole month of Emily and Aaron!!  YAY!

I couldn’t ask for a better couple to see over and over again either!

See you soon, love birds!

Toodles!

UPDATE:  It’s come to my attention I missed a very important and hilarious factor for this session. We were being eaten alive by mosquitos.  I kid you not!! Ang was there being their fur babies sitter and nearly caught West Nile! HA! She told me I could expect the bill! Bahahahaha! No kidding though…I had 9 bites on my right leg alone!! It was NUTS!
