Sydney + Jarrett | An Engagement Session

Hello! I worked late last night and now this morning to get caught up before vacation next week! I have a …NEW COUPLE for you all to meet! Meet Sydney and Jarrett! I met up with them (and their families) last week at one of the Enchanted Acres venue where they will be getting married next year! Their engagement session is live on the blog right now so please give them all your Hannah Barlow Photography love and ENJOY!

We started off easy! They liked the gazebo at this venue so we started our photos there!

Then, I got to meet all of their parents! We said our “hellos” and “nice to meet yous” and I went into full Hannah mode giving them the low down of this venue! I’ve photographed weddings here a good bit (and one other engagement session too)! Of course, we had to get a “before” because in a little less than a year they’ll be getting married here too!

There is just SO much to photograph at this venue! No matter where you go, you can’t go wrong!

This is where these two just started showing off!!! Even with an audience and me, a stranger with a camera, they started nailing the posing prompts! Jarrett joined in for this one…foot up and all! So, here’s an outtake! We had a great laugh and I just KNOW he’s going to make for great groom photos!

The black and white versions are soooooooo good! That contrast! I love it!

This day was the beginning of the heat wave that was 4th of July week! I told them…it never fails. If I’m at this venue, it’s always hot and humid! I don’t get it! Even when I was here for an October wedding…RAIN. We did have a beautiful day a few years ago though so there’s hope for their day to be precipitation and humidity free!

They were super easy to photograph to begin with but this was the moment I really saw them just go with it!

I have always loved the stone on this building! The pop of blue from their clothing…well, that’s what makes these photos!

Once again, the black and whites are just doing something for me! I’m usually privy to color…but for this session? Black and whites may be my favorite!

We finished off the session with some ring photos and walking photos and then…

…BUBBLES!

I’ll be seeing Sydney and Jarrett and their families again early June next year! It’s blowing my mind that we are on the edge of fall weddings and then 2027 will be here before we know it! These two are planning their wedding at this venue, Bella Amore of Enchanted Acres. Sydney told me she’s thinking pastels and I’m LOVING all the color I envision at their wedding…and bubbles too! I did get to see a little sneak peek of some decor but I’m making you wait until next year!

Thanks for reading! Have a great day!
