Happy Tuesday, everyone!
So, last Sunday was the Super Bowl!! I’m a busy mom with two little ones and a hungry husband who also has hungry friends!! This is a very easy “throw together” snack for a bunch of guys watching football, drinking beer, and complaining they have the munchies!! My husband’s cousin (Hi, Linda!) brought these to the beach years and years ago. I’ve since amended her recipe and tried all kinds of spices! I went back to her original though (at least…I think this is the original!) HA! It’s a favorite!
Enjoy!
1 Bag of Pretzels (any shape)
1 Packet Dry Ranch Dressing
1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil
1 tbs. Garlic Powder
1/2-3/4 tbs. Cayenne Pepper (I used 1 tbs last weekend and all the manly men complained it was too hot, so I decreased it for the blog).
**Add more or less depending on the spiciness you desire!
Preheat oven to 200 degrees. (You don’t actually want them to bake. You just want the oil to dry.)
Mix oil and seasonings together in large bowl.
Add pretzels and stir together making sure the pretzels are thoroughly and evenly covered.
Place on a baking sheet.
Pop them in the oven (at 200 degrees) and let them sit for 2 hours. This will dry the oil and make the spices stick!
YUM!!! ENJOY!
