Club at Shadow Lakes Wedding

Hello, everyone!  The weather is finally nice and it sure was great for the last Hannah Barlow Photography wedding too!  Blake and Joe are Mr. & Mrs. Laird!  You all know how this goes so please give them all your Hannah Barlow wedding photography love and enjoy their wedding blog post!

Lacey and I began this wedding day by arriving early in the parking lot and laughing because we’d parked on opposite sides of the parking lot, didn’t see one another, and then we both thought we’d gone to the wrong place.  I mean, after last year, I learned there’s a first time for everything, RIGHT?!  That wasn’t the case though (thank goodness) and it turns out we had, in fact, successfully arrived at the Club at Shadow Lakes and it was a HUGE contrast in weather compared to our last wedding together (when it was 17 degrees…Oy).  Look how pretty!

Then, we met with their coordinator, Diane, who was SO sweet and helpful and then we went up to find the ladies getting ready.

This little one had no issues with taking photos and actually requested them!  Gimme ALL those photos!

Detail photos, of course!  If you remember Blake and Joe’s engagement session (HERE), they’re country people like me and horse people (not like me) so I loved that she wore Hey, Dudes! It fit her perfectly!

Then, Joe and the men arrived and we had some fun photo time with them!

Like I said, this little gal stole the show there for a while and wanted ALL the photos.  Lacey and I couldn’t quit taking photos of her!  Isn’t she darling?

Now, it was time for the ladies to shine!  BUT FIRST…more darling moments!

Time to get these two married!  Everyone started filing in!

The Club at Shadow Lakes has a BEAUTIFUL location for a wedding ceremony!

Family formals were bananas (and Blake and I laughed and knew this ahead of time) but we were prepared and knew the list would be long.  Look how many we got done (and this is only a third of them)! I usually don’t show family formals but we got them ALL and I was so proud of us!

Now, time for those important bride and groom portraits.

Lacey was killing it with the second angle and composition!

Shoutout to our new friend, Aaron Woods, who was filming right along side me!  10/10 would recommend him!

Let’s take a walk to the lake! This was the point my shoes got real soggy. HA!

I’m never really done taking photos, right?

We’re done! Who needs a drink?!

Just kidding…because I’m never really done!  Bridal party photos!

Ok. Now, we’re done! Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Laird, everyone! Blake didn’t miss a beat being introduced and Joe’s reaction was pure perfection!

Speeches and special dances happened.  We got all those important moments out of the way!

…and then the party got started!

We didn’t take off before closing the night off with a sparkler exit!  Can you feel their joy?!  I sure hope so!

And that’s it! Wedding #4 is in the books and wedding season has taken flight!  Two more weddings are coming up this weekend so watch out for them!  Give the new Mr. & Mrs. Laird all your Hannah Barlow Photography wedding blog love ONE MORE TIME!

CONGRATULATIONS TO THEIR FAMILY AND FRIENDS, AS WELL!  They did it!  They’re married!
