Brick + Stone Classy Engagement Photos | Brittney & Alan

Welcome BACK to the couple blogs, everyone! If you’re new here, we’re glad to have you! For all you loyal blog readers (looking specifically at you, Joni…you know who you are), thank you for coming back year after year! I appreciate you (and all of you) more than you know!

SO, let’s do this! You know what’s coming up – NEW COUPLE ALERT! Brittney and Alan were in for their tasting at Oglebay this Tuesday so they decided to kill two birds with one stone and sneak in their engagement session too! We had 30 minutes flat to get this done and while I envisioned pure Hannah manic-ness (wedding day style) this session was SO laid back and absolutely the perfect way to go into the 2024 weddings season…I hope it’s a SIGN – calm vibes and stunning couples and breathtaking photos for the year! Let’s GO!

Give these two all your Hannah Barlow photography love! Their official engagement session with hints of buildings and stone (and “pre-wedding-ish vibes…as Brittney called it) is on the blog RIGHT NOW! ENJOY!

I mean…these two…THESE TWO! They’re beautiful humans, have a calming aura about them and have NO business looking this good in black and white! ALLLL the Hannah squeals for these ones below!

I barely had to say anything and these two just kept nailing it! OooO my goodness. Can you just imagine what their May wedding photos will look like next year?!

Man in black attire stands with woman in short white dress.

As with every session of mine, we MUST test out the walk and snuggle pre-wedding. They nailed it! The snuggle…everything about it…hand placement, heel lift, hand behind the head…ALL of it 10/10!

Alan went RIGHT in when I asked them to be romantic. Heck, I even gave them the option of who was more romantic and he didn’t hesitate! Add a beautiful gown next year and it’s going to be something AMAZING!

They said they felt like the Beatles here. I laughed. I laughed even more when I saw the photo!

While you all know I’m a BIG fan of color, these black and whites were tugging at my photographer heart strings! Off to the website they go!

…and then, to finish things off before I sent them on their way to their tasting, I had them dance…and dance…and spin some more! Those shoes MAY just appear next year in the detail photos which I’m already obsessed with and I haven’t even taken them yet. Their attention to detail as a couple is going to turn into something GRAND for their wedding…no pressure, you two. BUT I just know it!

These two are going to have an Oglebay West Spa Patio wedding ceremony with a celebration in the Pine Room! I’ve got VISIONS for them in my head and I absolutely cannot wait to execute them. How the heck are we talking about 2025 weddings already?! Like every year, it’ll be here before we know it!

Now, I’m off to deliver the whole gallery to the couple!

Happy Thursday, everyone! Thanks for being here!
