FINALLY! I’ve been to the two other Enchanted Acres venues in Dennison, Ohio BUT…I’d never been to Glass…yet! Enter Emelia and Ben who hired me to do their wedding at Glass on Enchanted Acres! It’s BEAUTIFUL and just like I pictured it and this couple decided to embrace the beauty with a traditional and classy black and white wedding! So, please give these two all your Hannah Barlow Photography love and ENJOY! Their wedding is live on the blog! Happy Monday!

Alright! So, let me tell you all about this day! Lacey and I pulled up to this gorgeous venue and got right down to business! But not before taking it all in! It’s GRAND, isn’t it?! A beautiful site to see FOR SURE!

The ladies were getting right down to business with hair and makeup!! Fun fact…they did their OWN makeup! You don’t see that much anymore and I enjoyed watching them bring it all together!

Black and white wedding details!!! Take a look at her ring!!! OOooOo my goodness!! I got to enjoy this beautiful diamond at their engagement session too! (See it HERE)! Shoutout to a new vendor friend too, Sara (Sara Ruth Films) for tag teaming all this with us! We had a great time together this day! I’m always so appreciative to meet new vendors I just click with!

…the men…weren’t so busy compared to the women! They were enjoying the chill afternoon with a game of cards!

But time flies when you’re having fun and before we knew it, it was time for the couple to get ready and prep for their first look!

Taking a look at the above and below collages, I can’t decide which I prefer more…I can’t! It’s like children, you can’t pick favorites! Nope! All the enchanted acres venues have grand getting ready suites that really tie into the feminine vs. masculine vibe. Emelia and Ben take amazing photos too! Tie that altogether and you have these! We took SO many I decided to keep it simple for the blog.

With the help of their day of coordinator (Hey, Jenn!), we got the timeline caught up and got them out for their first look! It was a whole moment…Emelia spun in a circle. We played paparazzi the whole time!

These below (especially that one with her hand on his face) are some of my absolute FAVS!

We had tears…we had laughs…sooooOooOo many laughs! Emelia and Ben have an infectious sense of humor and when they smile…you smile.

Then, we got right down to bride and groom formals!!! We REALLY lucked out too! It was beautifully warm and while the ground was wet in some places, most of Glass is turf. So, they were able to move about and we were able to capture SUCH a variety of photos!

They told me one of their favorite engagement photos was of them walking…SO…let’s redo it – wedding style!

…and add a little…spice!

Gotta get those individual moments too!! What you can’t see…camera right…is the bridal party literally creating a wall because some guests were starting to arrive!!! We still had a bit of the timeline and photo list to catch up so they lended many hands and made it happen!

Here are some of the amazing bridal party members I mention!!! The ladies and Josh! I don’t always share the “fun” or “personality” shots but theirs were TOO good not to share!

The moms joined in too!

While we were doing this, I noticed people reading letters. Emelia wrote letters to the bridal party members and Lacey caught some of them in their moment soaking in all the words.

Don’t you tear up!!! I KNOW!!! It was such a sweet touch! I’m not sure I’ve ever had a wedding where this happened before! So, stay with me!!! Here are the men!!! We got photos with the dad’s too (not pictured)!

Then, we had reached our time limit and needed to get this couple in hiding so they could refresh for the ceremony. We did that and then raced around Glass’s ballroom to get all those details captured as people found their seats for the ceremony outside.

This dessert spread needs a WHOLE MOMENT and collage of its own.

Here comes the bride! I STILL cannot believe we got such warm weather for an end of March wedding! MADNESS!! I’ve had March weddings that were less than 20 degrees in the past. It was so nice to be able to be outside again for wedding ceremonies! I’ve missed it!

Before, during and after family formals (we took so many so I left them out of the blog so I didn’t leave anyone in or out)…Emelia was living her BEST bride life! If you know her, you know her energy and how contagious it can be! The dress SPARKLED in this light!

I’m never really done with photos and definitely not with this couple!!! I wanted more and more and MORE!

…and sometimes you just gotta believe that things were meant to be. We started making our way over to the side of the building only to see the light had FINALLY decided to make an appearance!!! Sara and I grabbed our cameras so fast and got right down to making some beautiful moments!

…and then Ben hit his head. And looking back, we didn’t feel bad enough about it. Pretty sure I said, “You’re ok! Now pose!” HA! We filled their gallery RIGHT up!

Then, Ben needed a beer…and the guys happened to come get him. So, while he was shot gunning beers with the men…Emelia was living her best Queen Bride life! That’s what I really appreciate and love about these two…they can go from bride and groom elegant photos…to just letting the moments be and having a grand time!

Most of the formal photo part of the day was done at this point…it was time to get this reception started with all those must have reception moments! Shoutout to Lacey for ALWAYS getting that second angle for me!

…but these two are always game for anything…so we asked if they wanted to go out for Golden hour and they literally skipped at the idea!

Glass has SO many photo opportunities…so yes…we took even MORE photos!
Let’s dance…under the warm sun!

…and kiss…in front of the beautiful doors!

Then, we went back in for speeches…and they were SO good! The best man even ended his with all the lovey words and ….”may your air conditioning always be free.” Whyyyyyy?

…because Ben once charged Emelia for Air Conditioning…and the crowd went WILD! Including me, I was dying laughing with the rest of them! If you know this couple, you’re laughing too!

Emelia’s dad said some words too!

We photobombed…we did a large group shot and then we got this party started!!!! Here’s just a small batch of all the photos we took this evening! The dance floor was never not PACKED.

…and that’s it! That’s a wrap on Wedding #2 of the season!!! We’re off to a GRAND start! Emelia has been one of those brides I’ve felt very comfortable with from the beginning. We chat wedding things and non wedding things and all the things and text a good bit. It’s like we’ve known each other for a long time!! When I met Ben at their engagement session, it all made sense why these two pair up so well! I knew they’d have SUCH a beautiful wedding too!!!! It was exactly how I pictured it and I’m SO pumped to have photographed a wedding at Glass on Enchanted Acres. That’s it everyone!!! Thanks for reading! Until next time!
