Hi, all! Happy Thursday! The FOURTH wedding of the season is live on the blog! Grace and Dylan are new here and haven’t been on the Hannah Barlow Photography blog before so please give them all your love and warm welcomes you give ALL my couples! Their spring wedding is on the blog right now! ENJOY!
Becca and I met up in Moundsville, WV for this wedding. This wedding was unique in that I hadn’t met Grace in person or Dylan at all!! So, I rolled into their wedding day with many “nice to meet yous” and off we went! We got started with all those hair and makeup photos at the Holiday Inn Express! Grace was all smiles when I arrived!
Bridal details are ALWAYS a must!
The morning was SO fast!
We all had to get moving to be on time to get to the ceremony so we squeezed in some first looks moments with Grace’s dad! We weren’t missing or crossing this off the list! Nope!
THEN, off we went to the ceremony! I wanted to do those same moments with Dylan and his mom so I greeted everyone and pulled them off to the side.
Oglebay’s formal gardens NEVER disappoint! AND…fun fact…this was a ceremony location change at the very last minute…like five days prior. The previous ceremony space had undergone some construction from what I understand and was a muddy mess (’tis the season…it’s been SO rainy). BUT…it wasn’t rainy this day. It was absolutely PERFECT weather! AND I’m here for the venue change!
Time for the ceremony! There was not an empty seat in the gardens!
I don’t usually share family formals but they were BEAUTIFUL! So, here’s just a few!
Can we have a moment for this full bridal party?! Thank you, ALL! They were all super easy to get along with and we got a ton of photos! Also, can we take a moment to appreciate this color palette?
Now, let’s break it down! The men of the bridal party!
…AND the women! AGAIN, I am loving…LOVING…these colors!
Who says you can’t take a simple green location and make it romantical and dreamy!?
…and it’s not very often…that I prefer black and white over color. I’m a color loving woman, you know! BUT…these are stunning, in my opinion. Grace and Dylan take a fab photo!
Yes. YES! More black and white photos!
…but I DO need color! Every couple gets a copy of both color and black and white when it comes to their formal photos and intimate moments (like first dances, etc.). I remember some of my friends in the past only getting one or the other so rest assured, Hannah Barlow Photography wedding couples get both! I’m just showing you one or the other!
The reception was held at Moundsville, WV fairgrounds! I’ve never been before so that was exciting! The fruit and cheese boards were 10/10 great!
DJ Keith Shreve introduced the couple and they did first dances, parent dances and then cut their CHEESECAKE! As a cheesecake lover myself, I approve!
Golden hour and sunset was not something Grace requested. Grace was SO easy and just let me do my thing…I don’t think she had any requests honestly…just the basic things. So, when I went outside to take some photos of people mingling…I saw this sky and raced to find the couple and ask if they wanted to take a few minutes to take photos! They did! YAY! Honestly some of my favorite sunset AND golden hours to date. It’s not easy to find and get BOTH…it’s usually just color…or just golden hour. They got both!
Dj Keith Shreve got the party started!
…and because I like all blogs to end on a great note. Let’s see the one of them literally running to the sunset!
Grace and Dylan are now Mr. & Mrs. Coulter! I got to meet so many new people and see a few familiar faces! THIS wedding definitely felt like wedding season. The weather was absolutely PERFECT…would NOT change a thing! Hoping the weather can continue on wedding days and be just like this…no rain! Here’s to hoping!
One more time, give these two all your Hannah Barlow Photography love and HAPPY THURSDAY!
Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. Coulter!
