Hello, world! HBP HAS A NEW LOOK!

Hello!  Hello!

It’s FINALLY here!

Hannah Barlow Photography has a NEW SITE and a NEW “HOME” <— Well, to be continued…READ ON!

This new site though…it’s JUST.SO.PRETTY?! Right?!

I can’t take credit for this beauty.  I hired an outside company and designer to rebrand my company and do a major overhaul of my site.  It wasn’t cheap BUT it was a LONG TIME coming.  My old site didn’t feel like “me”.  It was a LONG process to get to this point though, I tell ya!  I started this whole redesign process “officially” back at the beginning of June (and I had been researching my options nightly in bed for months before that).  The first half of my wedding season craziness was just about over at that time.  In true Hannah fashion, I was planning.  I was going to execute this as the “best” time for my company!  I knew I had some down time coming the rest of June, July, and August so I thought it was the best time to get this done (and I didn’t want to wait until the winter and have my site down during PRIME booking season.  No WAY!).  Fun Fact: The majority of couples in the United States get engaged in the month of December and prime wedding planning season for those couples (and the prime time they book vendors too) is January-March.  As a result, this was the best timing for me!  I already have lots and lots of amazing couples on my calendar for next year already but was NOT about to risk missing anyone on account of my site needing a makeover!

So, here we are!  I’m back into my second half of the busy wedding season and the site is DONE!  FINALLY!  I’m jumping for joy…seriously!

THIS IS ME RIGHT NOW!  Channeling my inner Jane – dancing around my room!

So, please take a look around.  Let me know what you think!! Let me know if you notice anything that needs changed or if I have any HBP typos (but really…I didn’t type most of it so we should be in the clear! HA!).  They even included my typo saga in the fun facts section…check it out!  I thought that was quite ironic AND perfect!

I think it feels very “Hannah” and very “HBP” but I’m biased, of course!  So, I’ll let my loyal blog readers, clients, and future clients decide!  YOU are the judge!  But be nice, please…it’s pretty much a done deal anyway! HA!  I’m NOT a creature of change.  I like my life and business to run like a well oiled machine so you can just imagine the stress this whole process caused me! Good grief!  THEN, the blog didn’t transfer over…which you all know was my biggest fear during this whole process!  They’re working on it…to be continued.  I need to just “LET IT GOOOOO, LET IT GOOOOO…” just like Elsa! (Did you sing it?!  I did!).  I can assure you this site will look like this for a long, long, long, long time though!  I’ll change the photos here and there but THAT’S IT!  It’s like a porcelain doll and I’m afraid of breaking it!  For REAL!

So, I think this is the shortest blog post for me EVER!  Happy Thursday!  And this is a new blogging website for me…the STRESS!  I’m still getting used to it!

—————————————-

P.S.  I was instructed by the designers to create this “first blog post on the new site”.   I also need to publish 3-5 blog posts NOW!  Ughhhhhhhh.  For the first time in my life, I don’t know what to say!  I don’t think I can find enough to say for 3-5 more new, blog posts! HA!  I know…I know…it’s hard to believe!  I should have Susan and Chad’s wedding done here soon though!  I can’t wait to show you!  It’s amazing!

So, why not?!  I decided to let the cat out of the bag today on account of needing more information for my new blog.  My town is teeny and word is out anyway (and I’ve let it slip to a few clients too).

Hannah Barlow Photography is getting a NEW HOME too!!  I bought property!  THAT’S RIGHT! EEEEEK!!!

So, now…on to the next blog post!  I’ll give you some more details!  Check back!

—————————————-

Well, this was typed a day later.  The blog saga continues BUT they found my old blogs and I can see them transferring into the new site!! EEEEKKKKKK!  Those who know me know how big of a deal this was for me and my company!  I’ve been quite stressed out this week over it all!  If you followed my IG stories…YOU KNOW!  So, it’s not quite over like I thought when I typed the blog yesterday.  It’s Friday now…this is the update!  I need a STIFF drink tonight (which I’m going to get).  We’re celebrating my birthday tonight with some of my favorite food – HIBACHI!  I can’t wait!

While we wait for everything to complete, did you all see the amazingness that happened this week on Facebook?  If not…here’s a recap!

Susan and Chad’s wedding was AMAZING!  Here was their sneak peek!  I’m hoping to have the blog ready in a few days!

Sam and Joe got married the VERY next day at Armstrong Farms!  It was amazing for completely different reasons!  Here is their sneak peek!

…AND now I’m hoping that’s a wrap officially for this blog post!  I really want to get Chad and Susan’s blog up and running but needed to complete this “test” blog to make sure all the kinks were worked out.  Cross ALL your crossables!

Have a great weekend!
