Fall McConnells Mill Engagement Photos

Happy Monday, everyone!  Whewwww…this week is going to be CRAZY!  It’s going to be crazy because I have a “to do” list a mile and a half long that MUST be completed by Friday.  November is going to be mass wedding craziness for me (it’s got 5 weddings on it and some surprises to come) so it’s very important I get all this done! These two were first on my list for this Monday!! SO, please meet Chelsae and Tyler and enjoy their Fall McConnells Mill Engagement Photos!

I “know” Chelsae and Tyler through Kari and David!  It’s always fun to do “friends” sessions! We traveled up to McConnells Mill to do these engagement photos and to get all the fall, foliage beauty!  Tyler wanted to hike a bit to get to this spot!! Their fur baby, Maverick, also joined and a huge shoutout to Chelsae’s mom, Jen, for being the doggy wrangler! Off we go!  Little did they know I’m an asthmatic and came unprepared so I was quite out of breath after this short little trek! HA!  I also lost my earplugs!! Whomp…whomp!

As always, we got all the fur baby photos out of the way so he could go play!! He was a total star!  Look at the variety we got! YAY!  He didn’t lick my camera either (which ALL dogs try to do).

Then, Jen took him for a walk and we got right down to it!!  They’re pretty cute and cuddly, aren’t they?!  We had lots of laughs!

…and we switched it up to make one location look like lots!! CHECK!

We chatted the whole time we hiked around and laughed a lot!  It was like being with old friends! The walk and snuggle and walk were necessary, of course!  I told her we’ve got to work on those dip skills.  We blamed poor Kari (who wasn’t there to defend herself) and I told Chelsae she must have gotten it from her (Kari dips like she’s a corpse sometimes…HA!).  They got better the second round!  YAY!

Then, we headed off to the waterfall and got some more fall photos with this adorable HANDMADE sign Chelsae’s sister made!! I heard it was quite the disaster when some things shipped and arrived wrong and she had to make a last minute trip to a craft store to make it right.  I’m also pretty sure this all happened the night before so we were sure to take lots of photos with it! HA!

Then, they changed their clothes and we kept on with the cuteness!! The ladies are always easy to photograph but Tyler made my job easy too!! WOOOO!! You know I love those kinds of grooms who don’t mind being in front of my camera and it always means lots of photos on their wedding day!! WOOT WOOT!

I thought Jen needed her own photo with Maverick!  You know I like to include everyone who is around!  It’s good practice for everyone come the wedding!

Then, I channeled my inner Kari and Lacey again and I hid in the “weeds” and got low…more photos with the sign!

More walking…because they do it SO GOOD anddddddd they did it up the stairs!!  Impressive, I tell ya!

GRAND FINALE shot!! WOOOOOOO!!!

…and some rings shots.  These two were together four years before they got engaged.  They originally met when Chelsae was hunting with her dad and Tyler was hunting with a friend (who was a friend of her dad’s).  He popped the question at the zoo and they’ll be getting married next August now!  Check out this beauty!

That’s it! That’s a wrap on this fall McConnells Mill engagement session and you’ll have another one with another couple coming at ya Friday! Woooo!!  Chelsae and Tyler will be saying “I do” next summer at Renshaw Family Farms!  I’ve never been there before so I’m super duper pumped about it!  It’s going to have a barn/outdoor feel so I know both Sam and Lacey will enjoy the heck out of this one!! Barn weddings are REALLY growing on me too, I tell ya!

Happy Monday, everyone!  Thanks for reading!
