Wheeling Engagement Photos | Courtney & Jonathan

Happy Monday! This couple has been waiting a few days to see their engagement photos so HERE WE GO! NEW COUPLE ALERT! Courtney and Jonathan are live on the blog RIGHT now! Enjoy! …and make sure you give them ALL your Hannah Barlow Photography love!

The sun started off with some perfect glow! We put ourselves right by these flowers because their colors will have purple next year too at their wedding!

I actually “met” these two at a wedding last year! They were guests at an August wedding I photographed (still looking for the evidence on the dance floor…to be continued). They met each other, however, in high school. Through mutual friends, Johnathan was convinced to send Courtney a DM (the fact that these two had Instagram…in high school…is REALLY making me feel elderly right now). Well, Courtney ignored that first message…HA! After a second once, she responded…and years later…here we are!

These two were up for anything…and super duper laid back (which is becoming a wonderful theme with many of my couples). I joked and told Courtney she’s going to stress me out on her wedding day if she doesn’t start to have some serious opinions about photos! HA! They say they have similar personalities too…OOoOo boy. Here we go! Hannah’s going to be running like a maniac on their wedding day…in a great way! I’ll have to have ALL the things!

We’ll be right back in this location in almost exactly one year (just shy of a few days actually).

…and when I say they were up for anything, I wasn’t kidding around! Jonathan gave Courtney that ring (you’ll see it below) at their newly purchased home and made sure it was a total surprise. After that, he’d planned a surprise engagement party!

I hope the greens look this green and the light loves us this much next year!

They snuggled right up for these photos (below)! I told them I named that post the “Courtney and Jonathan” because their heights for her to bring her hand up to his chin is just PERFECT!

Grand finale shot for now! I can’t wait to see these two as a wedding couple!

These two love birds are planning an outdoor ceremony (right at these same gates) and then a Pine Room cocktail hour and reception at Oglebay surrounded by those they care about most! They’ve also hired an amazing vendor team! You’ll recognize us together…you just wait! 2023…I’m coming for you! Only four more weddings to go in 2022…I CAN’T BELIEVE IT!
