Hey, everyone!!! The LAST wedding of the year is HERE!!!! Cassi and Charlie wrapped up my wedding season for me and I can’t wait for you to see it! Please give the new Mr. & Mrs. Kelly ALL your Hannah Barlow Photography love…they are MARRIED! ENJOY!

I arrived early to Highland Meadows Farm because it was my first time and it was gorgeous! As I always do, I said my “hellos” and got right down to details!

Ashleigh arrived too and we started tag teaming all the getting ready happenings going on!

Highland Meadows Farm has a reception area like I’ve never seen before! If you’re looking for a true rustic vibe, this is your venue!

We got right down to business after details and started getting Cassi ready! I do really love those sleeves…I feel like NOT enough dresses have fun sleeves! I also told her in a total “Hannah moment” to “hug the window”…I meant “get close”…Cassi quite literally hugged it…AND WHY DID IT MAKE FOR A GREAT PHOTO!?

Cassi wanted me to “sneak” some getting ready moments with Charlie. I think she was just testing me though because Charlie was 10/10 game and ready for whatever I threw at him! He did do a pretty great job at the “getting ready” portion of the day! Wouldn’t you say? Dare I say…we even had fun!

Time for those first look moments! Cassi wanted a good mix of “rustic” but also “fall”…so we started here! Shoutout to the staff of Rustic Meadows who gave us space but also kept working around us to get the ceremony set up! I loved working with them. Everyone was so kind, accommodating and welcoming! And a shoutout to Susan who gave me the grand tour and made finding each area so easy!

Hunter got to come out and have his own first look moments and he was totally into throwing those leaves!

Time for the “rustic” set of bride and groom formals!

Then, we moved over to get some of those fall vibes. I CAN say it now because there’s no weddings left to jinx…Mother Nature and the Wedding Gods were REALLY on our side in 2025. We had NO weddings that it was super wet…or super mucky and gross…or anything like that! This week prior to this wedding was pretty wet…but alas, when the wedding day came, it was pretty dry! That tended to be the theme for the year…”bad forecasted weather coming”….”GREAT wedding day”!
It was chilly…but these ladies were beautiful and so patient with pictures! BEAUTIFUL, I tell ya!

Full bridal party, of course! So, I excused most of the ladies to go warm up!

What you can’t see was what was going on to my left and right. I was “warned” (I’m always “warned”) about the men…nope. I won’t accept it! These men were FUN and totally on board with photos but also keeping themselves busy AND enjoying themselves (they can’t deny it…there were laughs…and bigger laughs…and all kinds of shenanigans).

It was at this point, Cassi asked me for “veil photos”. I’ll be honest…I wasn’t going to force this on Charlie. He was totally “I don’t love photos but I’ll do whatever you ask for sake of photos” kind of guy and I appreciate him! So, it’s always my goal (as I told Cassi at our very first meeting) to make sure both the women AND men have a good time on their wedding day! PIVOT! Well, HERE WE GO…under the veil we go! I’m cracking up typing this…he was like, “Hannah…what are we doing Hannahhhh!!! You’re going under WITH US?!” Why yes…yes I AM! We all agree…WORTH IT!

Then, I HAD to have more veil photos in my life! Ashleigh threw the veil per the usual!

Then, PLOT TWIST! Off to my side, I heard a groomsman ask, “HEYYYY…why didn’t you ask ME to throw the veil?” Well, ASK AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE! Get over there…give me your best veil throw!
…and he…NAILED IT. I don’t know why the photos are all pixelated…blame technology. A good photographer wouldn’t share these…but I share EVERYTHING. HA! I promise they’re crystal clear in real life…but really…these moments were too good NOT to share just because the World Wide Web is compressing my collages!

I do believe his veil photo is a keeper!!! Then, we went right back into bride and groom formals! These were going to be the fall versions of couple portraits!

We let all the ladies go get warmed up and freshened up and then we finished this part of the day off with the men! The bottom left photo is their “GQ shot” and I just can’t…it’s perfect for this group!

I can’t explain it but one of my tiny favorite parts of the day is going out to see a new ceremony space set up before people arrive! It’s calm before the storm kind of vibes…except at this wedding, there was never any “storm”. This day was a breath of fresh air (no pun intended) and such an easy joy to photograph!

It was a beautiful outdoor ceremony too! A little chilly…BUT…I’m very glad they did it outside because the location is SO pretty!

Then, it was time for family formals! Disclaimer and important…this is NOT all of them. I grabbed just a FEW to show you how great these groups were to photograph and how pretty they all turned out. If I took your photo, it DID turn out…it did go in the final gallery! I promise! AND with the couples’ permission, I’m happy to share your photos. I’m a photographer who “delivers what is requested” meaning if I took an expected, requested, and/or posed photo…I delivered one. I often get that question about what I blog vs. what is delivered and I took SO MANY great groupings and photos here I didn’t want anyone in this group to think anyone got left out! This just happens to be the few photos I grabbed of the whole gallery that would fit in my collage! A++ to everyone!

Back inside we go! The couple was announced as the new Mr. and Mrs. and then they got right down to their first dance!

It’s been a LONG while since we had a good, ole’, traditional smash the cake in the face!

We had speeches and a yummy dinner and then they sure did get down to dancing!

AHHHH!!! BITTERSWEET! That’s it! I first met Cassi (and Hunter) on a virtual chat last year! I knew we’d make a good fit…it was like chatting with a fellow mom and friend when I chatted with Cassi. Then, I got to meet Charlie and their nephew at their engagement session and the good vibes kept rolling! This wedding day was NO different. These people are genuine, kind, good and honest folks..the kind I could have called 30 minutes after leaving the wedding with a flat tire and I guarantee a whole truck load of them would have shown up and made sure I got home somehow! I so enjoyed spending the day(s) with everyone…especially their wedding day! To the Kellys, I hope this wedding was EVERYTHING you wanted it to be and more! Thanks for closing out the 2025 wedding season! We did it…up next…2026 weddings! I can’t believe it!
