Wildflower Wheeling Engagement Photos

Happy Thursday again, everyone!  It’s going to be a big blog kind of week so brace yourselves for all the “Hannah” in the next two days! NEW COUPLE ALERT too!  I got to photograph this sweet couple just a few days ago!  Please give Stephanie and Mason all your Hannah Barlow Photography love because this their big, engagement photo blog debut is here! Enjoy!

To start off, I told this couple at their session but keep thinking it over and over again even while blogging.  They’ve seriously been one of my easiest couples to date…to the point I almost feel bad because I feel like I haven’t done enough for them leading up to their wedding that will be happening here in March!  They haven’t asked much of me but that just tells me their wedding is going to be amazing and stress free an I’m going to go over and above (hand warmers included) to make sure it’s everything they want it to be and more!  They even tell me that’s what they’re hoping…for a wedding full of love and lots of fun!  Sign me up!  I’ll be there!  Look at them!

This one below is one of my favorites!  Stephanie tells me they met online and then her and a friend made a “fake plan” to go visit West Liberty University where Mason just happened to be located.  Well, that pretend “plan” turned into a GREAT idea because after that meeting, they started hanging out, spending the summer together and here we are now!

Speaking of “easy”…these two were easy to photograph.  Easy to get along with too!  I felt like I already kind of knew Stephanie though.  We chat here and there on Instagram so it always makes for a great first, in-person meeting!  She’s popped in to some of my workshops too!  These two had all the good things to say about one another, to top it all off.  What really caught my eye was what Mason said about his soon to be wife…and I quote…”…she’s just the most well-rounded and perfect human I’ve ever had the pleasure of coming across and somehow she wants to get married to me.” I MEAN!

End Blog.  I don’t think we need to go any further!

JUST KIDDING!  Of course, if you’re a loyal, blog reader…you KNEW…just knew I wasn’t going to stop there! Nope!  They did some walking and snuggling!  Then, we took full advantage of the flowers.  I love this little location!

Let’s talk about this beautiful ring!  I can’t WAIT to stand it up on an invitation.  It has the most unique and elegant details!  Mason proposed to Stephanie on the beach totally surprising her!  They even had some girls take pictures…I NEED to see these pictures!

Just a few more!

I always love this part of the session where they get real cozy because all that weird “camera in my face” feelings are gone!

They went right for it!  Modified dip for the win!

What I didn’t mention was that early in this session we met a baby raccoon who was practicing his climbing skills in a nearby tree.  Mason mentioned that he loves animals.  So, to finish the session off…I suggested we go meet the deer!  I kid you not…I found some old french fries my kids left behind in my car and that’s how we got them near us!  Improvising here!

That’s it!  You’ll see these two again in a little over 8 months!  I’m sitting here right now trying to figure out how almost half my weddings for 2021 are done and it’s JULY already!! HOW did that even happen?!  I guess we’re all enjoying the “normal” again!  It’s felt SO great and I’m SO happy to be with people again!  Happy Thursday, everyone!  Have a GREAT day!
