A Fall Engagement Session in Moon, PA

Happy Wednesday, everyone!

Whewww…I hope you blog readers are ready!! It’s going to be a busy Hannah Barlow Photography blog week!  Three engagement sessions and two weddings coming at you…that’s right!  First up?!  NEW COUPLE ALERT!  Kaylea and Adam are on the blog with their fall engagement session right now.  They’re new here (and you may be too) so, “welcome”!  All you loyal blog readers…please give them all your HBP love and show them what it’s all about around here!  Enjoy!

If you know me, you expect me to get all sappy and say all the nice things and all that jazz.  It’s sincere and people like Kaylea and Adam just up the ante even more.  We’d planned their fall engagement session months ago.  If you’re living the rainy, October life…you know it’s rained recently…a lot!  We saw the rain coming days ago.  We agreed to wait until Monday morning to see what would happen.  Then, Adam reached out and asked if we could do it earlier in the day.  I said, “Of course!”  I moved my schedule around…and it was a date!  Then, I watched the forecast and as I was leaving…it was raining.  Looked bad out.  I called them right up and we decided to wait it off…THEN, I called my husband (the ultimate weatherman) and he told me to get my butt out the door and GO NOW…because rain was coming.  So, I trusted him.  I always do.  He’s the radar watcher and never wrong.  I felt like a lunatic calling this sweet couple back and saying “just kidding, let’s go now” but they were totally game.  They didn’t even hesitate.  It also made my arrival 3 minutes late and you all know…I don’t do late.  I was getting hives on my way up!

These two?  They were so calm and I felt like we just clicked…even with the weather madness.  Conversation was easy.  Posing was EASY EASY!  They just take a good photo together (you probably see that already)…they’ve got allllllll the things a wedding photographer like me wants!  EKKKKK!  Their wedding is going to be amazing…I just know it.  It’s going to be one of those I get sweaty because I’ll be nervous becuase I’ll want it ALL for them!  You watch!

Even though it’s fall…the black and whites do not disappoint!

They walked and snuggled and we moved around a bit!

It may be a Hannah Barlow Photography first or second…but they made the dead arm look good and you all know how I feel about that dead arm! HA!  It’s the look in their eyes when they stopped for me!  Check out that photo bottom left!

I do love the dead stuff!

We circled back to that fall tree.  Fall is weird this year.  We’re just not getting the color we usually get…GAH!  And the leaves are falling to the ground before they change….Waaaaaaaa…Noooooo!  But we only need one volunteer tree and this was it!  That pretty orange just lit up everything!

Again with those looks!  And look at that ring!

Grand finale spins…let’s do this!

These two are getting married in less than a year…next September!  They’re having an Oglebay wedding ceremony on the West Spa Patio and are following it up with a reception in the Fort Henry room!

I’m already getting visions of their wedding day!  Prepare for a long wedding blog…I feel it in my bones!

Happy Wednesday!  Thanks for reading!
